CULTURAL HERITAGE COMMISSION VOTES IN FAVOR OF LANDMARK
STATUS FOR GRIFFITH PARK
At the end of the three-hour hearing, the
standing room only crowd in Room 350 of City Hall broke into
an ovation as the 3-to-1 vote was read. Thanks to this
morning's positive outcome, the issue now heads to the PLUM
(Planning and Land Use Management) Committee of City
Council. If approved there, it will go to full City Council
for an up or down vote.

their support and a special shout out to Councilmember
LaBonge who stepped forward in favor of the nomination!
