City Services Report:  BCNA now doing an assessment of needed services for our community.  Fran has written to Frances Banerji regarding unresponsiveness of Brian Gallagher who has since responded.  We are concentrating on getting curbs and streets painted and even repaved.   Nina continues to call weekly for large item pick up removal from streets.  The BCNA continues to work on getting Beachwood Drive repaved or at the very least, potholes repaired.

Traffic Report:  BCNA to invite Officer Jerry Seil of West Traffic Division and Brian Gallagher of DOT to talk about problem areas of traffic in community especially complaints received about Franklin and Tamarind intersection and possibly putting in a light there.

Franklin/Hollywood Hills Community Council:  Outreach and By-Laws committees are hard work.  The boundaries have been decided and the group will be applying for certification in October.

Also present at the meeting was a representative from the area security company making patrols and available to answer questions from members afterwards.

Announcements:  FHHCC hosting Candidates' Forum Thursday, August 2nd at Cheremoya Avenue Elementary School; BCNA participating in National Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday August 7th at the Hollywood Police Station
