The Beachwood Canyon
Neighborhood Association is organized under the Nonprofit
Public Benefit Corporation Law (501 c 3) exclusively for
public and charitable purposes. Our primary purpose is to be
a vehicle for neighborhood empowerment, informing the
residents of Beachwood Canyon of matters affecting us all
and acting on behalf of our neighbors to affect positive
change.
Our area stretches from
Franklin Avenue up to the Hollywood Sign and everything in
between. We sense that Beachwood Canyon is one united area
but honor and support the Hollywoodland Specific Plan as a
perfect tool to preserve that part of our canyon. We hope
you will support the efforts we make on behalf of all
residents in Beachwood Canyon.
We are an
issues-based group holding meetings at least every quarter
and more often if need arises. We send out e-mail reports
and alerts. Join our e-mail tree by contacting
BeachwoodCanyon@sbcglobal.net or call our hotline at
323-462-1514. Let us know if you would like to join our
board, participate in clean up projects, help plan events or
just want to be informed of goings on. We work closely with
our Senior Lead Officer, Mike Shea and support/organize
neighborhood watch groups. Interested? Contact us!
Membership gets
you a voice, a vote, and a Danish and supports our snail
mail and flyer outreach and other mailings as well as the
costs associated with this website . We hold most of our
meetings in the Village Coffee Shop. Attending is a great way to
mingle with your neighbors and lend a hand to community.
