Welcome to BCNA website, July 10, 2008

We aim to serve our community, Mulholland to Franklin, owners and renters. We care about community in all its positive aspects. Together we hold dear the stability, tranquility, and unique character of our neighborhoods and are dedicated to preserving it. We support, value the Hollywoodland Specific Plan and are committed to protecting and defending it when need be.

We'll let you know what's happening, whom to write, when, how and why, implore you to come downtown to City Hall when you can, have some fun, and ask you to become involved in the enforcement of the rules of community.

Membership gets you a voice, a vote, and a Danish.  We hold most of our meetings in the Village Coffee Shop, and it's a great way to mingle with your neighbors and lend a hand to community.

But the City Planning Department recently approved the expansion of a 4,235-square-foot house to 8,095 square feet, nearly doubling its size and creating the largest home built in Hollywoodland since the 1920s. Other homes nearby average 2,500 square feet . . .more
